About the Role
FEDICS is seeking a Patient Liaison Officer to manage and enhance client, customer, and company relationships within a healthcare-focused environment. The ideal candidate will be the primary point of contact for patients and visitors, ensuring a positive and professional front-of-house experience.
Key Responsibilities

Greet all patients and visitors courteously

Be available to resolve any problems or complaints in a professional manner

Maintain cleanliness and organisation of front-of-house areas

Facilitate effective communication between front-of-house and back-of-house teams

Ensure prompt, courteous handling of enquiries and messages

Conduct regular checks for maintenance needs in public areas

Maintain a visible presence and build rapport with guests and staff

Monitor industry trends and suggest improvements for guest service
Minimum Requirements
Education:
-
National Senior Certificate (Matric)
Experience and Skills:
-
Minimum 3 years of front-of-house operations experience (preferably in food service or hospitality)

Strong communication skills in the dominant local language(s)

Basic maths proficiency and ability to operate a POS or cash register

Physically fit; able to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks (bending, reaching, etc.)

Able to work 45–50 hours per week, including standing shifts up to 5 hours
