Job Description:
Midas is seeking a target-driven and enthusiastic Sales Person for its branch in Marble Hall. The successful candidate will focus on meeting sales targets, ensuring customer satisfaction, and applying strong communication and negotiation skills to drive business growth.
Key Responsibilities:

Manage customer and counter sales to maximize customer potential

Achieve monthly sales targets set by management

Forecast, plan, and report on customer sales potential

Monitor competitor activity and pricing
-
Communicate customer issues (e.g., deliveries, accounts) to the relevant departments

Grow customer base and increase market share in the assigned area
-
Build and maintain strong customer relationships
-
Respond to inbound customer sales enquiries and provide quotes
-
Provide accurate product and pricing information
-
Work closely with departments such as Accounts, Despatch, Warehousing, and Technical to resolve customer queries

Handle walk-in and telephone sales
-
Pick and prepare stock for customer orders

Participate in regular stock counts and inventory checks
Qualifications and Experience:
-
Matric (Grade 12)
-
2–3 years’ experience in motor spares or parts sales
-
Proven track record in a sales role with a focus on customer service
-
Solid understanding of the geographical sales area
-
Technical knowledge of motor parts is advantageous

Business awareness, especially around cost and breakeven principles
