Introduction
Pepkor Lifestyle is seeking a dynamic and experienced Relief Manager to support its retail operations. This role offers a fast-paced and varied work environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all operational aspects of stores and ensuring customer satisfaction and business profitability. The Relief Manager will work across multiple JD Home chain stores as needed.
Key Responsibilities

Ensure store profitability through effective planning, organizing, leading, and controlling daily operations

Drive sales performance by delivering excellent customer service and a compelling shopping experience

Maintain high standards in store presentation, visual merchandising, and safety

Handle stock control and shrinkage prevention

Oversee financial, administrative, and operational procedures

Lead and manage store teams, fostering a positive and high-performing work environment

Assist with and oversee the Service Department

Promote teamwork, self-management, and internal collaboration

Travel and provide temporary leadership support across various branches as required
Minimum Requirements
-
Grade 12 / Matric
-
3–5 years of relevant management experience in a retail environment

A diploma in Retail Management or Business (advantageous)
