Purpose of the Role
To support Project Managers in implementing capital projects by managing project administration tasks, including financial tracking, reporting, and procurement processes, with a strong focus on using systems like SAP and MS Office.
Minimum Requirements

Education:

Tertiary Administrative Diploma (or equivalent)

Project Management Certificate will be an advantage

Experience:

Minimum 5 years of experience in project administration

Systems Knowledge:

SAP (Project System, Investment Management, Costing, Materials Management, CATS)

MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Primary Duties
-
Support Project Managers in implementing projects in the section

Create requisitions, process contract payments, and record receipt of goods
-
Perform general administrative functions related to SAP and PPM
-
Assist the Programme Manager with CAPEX (budgets, forecasts, tracking)
-
Assist with OPEX and supplementary budgets
-
Compile and maintain the Asset Register
-
Coordinate and take minutes for project progress meetings
-
Generate reports including job creation statistics
-
Update and manage electronic project files
-
Prepare and maintain project status reports
