Job Summary:

This internship offers hands-on exposure to logistics and supply chain operations, ideal for recent graduates with a Diploma (NQF 6) in Logistics or Supply Chain Management. The intern will support day-to-day logistics functions, such as trip debriefing, inventory management, documentation, reporting, and process improvement efforts.

Minimum Requirements:

Diploma (NQF 6) in Logistics or Supply Chain Management
Strong organizational and communication skills
Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel)
Basic supply chain and transportation knowledge
Familiarity with administrative processes and relevant legislation (OHS, Road Traffic)
Valid driver’s license and own transport
Excellent time management, willingness to learn, and team-oriented mindset

Duties & Responsibilities:

Assist in inbound/outbound logistics coordination
Perform inventory tracking and reconciliation tasks
Support general admin and documentation maintenance
Debrief delivery trips on Vantage
Follow up with Goods Received Vouchers (GRVs)
Pull and analyze reports (e.g. speeding, under rest, km readings)
Clear Optic video footage for incidents
Report returned stock to supervisors
Participate in process improvement initiatives
Assist with supply chain KPI reporting and data analysis
Support the team with any additional tasks assigned by management
