Job Summary
Boxer is seeking a detail-oriented and creative Advertising Co-ordinator to manage the creation and execution of promotional product and price advertising across multiple platforms. This role involves close collaboration with the Commercial and Fresh departments to ensure timely, accurate, and effective marketing communication, especially within a fast-paced, deadline-driven retail environment.
Key Responsibilities

Create promotional product and price adverts (e.g., leaflets, newspapers).

Coordinate and manage multiple advertising projects simultaneously.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure campaign accuracy and effectiveness.

Analyse competitor advertisements and communicate findings.

Attend promotional sign-off meetings with the Commercial and Fresh teams.

Approve final promotional materials before print and publication.

Ensure full and effective use of Retail Management System (RMS).

Stay updated with RMS system changes and improvements.

Validate barcodes and images using the Silo image library.

Complete advertising workflows and tasks via RMS.
Minimum Requirements

Education:

Matric (Essential)

3-Year Diploma/Degree in Marketing or Retail (Essential)

Experience:

2+ years in a retail/FMCG environment with a focus on promotions, advertising, and media

Skills & Competencies

Computer literacy (essential)

BoMM system knowledge (advantageous)

Strong attention to detail

Effective time management and ability to multitask

Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Ability to speak a South African vernacular language (e.g., Zulu, Xhosa, Sotho) – essential for radio script advertising
