Job Overview
The Tyre Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all aspects of tyre maintenance for the fleet, ensuring safety, performance, and cost-efficiency. This includes supervising staff, managing inventory, maintaining compliance, and implementing tyre care strategies.
Key Responsibilities
Tyre Maintenance & Inspection

Supervise tyre inspections for damage, wear, and pressure issues.

Oversee tyre rotation, balancing, alignment, and repairs.

Schedule and monitor regular maintenance to reduce downtime.
Inventory & Procurement
-
Manage tyre inventory, including stock tracking and ordering.

Maintain records and forecast future requirements.

Liaise with suppliers to ensure timely, cost-effective procurement.
Team Supervision

Lead and manage tyre fitters and technicians.

Assign tasks, monitor work quality, and ensure safety compliance.

Train new staff on tyre maintenance and safety procedures.
Reporting & Compliance

Keep records of tyre changes, repairs, and related expenses.

Submit regular reports on usage, performance, and budgeting.

Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and company standards.
Cost Control

Analyze tyre data to reduce costs and improve efficiency.

Implement best practices to extend tyre lifespan.

Manage casing credits and tyre disposal processes responsibly.
Requirements
-
Education: High school diploma; technical tyre training preferred.

Experience: 3–5 years in tyre fitting/maintenance, including 1+ year in a supervisory role.

Technical Skills: Knowledge of tyre specs, types, and care procedures.

Software: Familiarity with tyre management and inventory systems.

Driver’s License: Code 10 – Mandatory
