Position Overview:

BCXP is seeking a Strategy Planning and Execution Specialist to support the execution of strategic initiatives across the enterprise. This role is responsible for contributing to the strategic planning lifecycle—from research and insight gathering to operational alignment and scorecard development. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills with a background in corporate or consulting strategy environments.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct industry research, benchmarks, and global environmental scans to inform strategic planning.

  • Organize strategy engagement sessions: manage logistics, prepare agendas, distribute pre-reading materials.

  • Support the preparation of strategy planning templates and overview documents.

  • Develop periodic strategic insight reports and presentations for executive leadership (EXCO).

  • Facilitate and support enterprise and business unit (BU) operational planning workshops.

  • Assist BUs in aligning operational plans with enterprise-wide priorities.

  • Support the preparation and validation of performance scorecards for EXCO members.

  • Manage knowledge-sharing forums and promote strategy awareness across the organization.

  • Contribute to Board Pack preparation and annual strategy planning submissions.

  • Help cascade enterprise-level strategy into actionable BU-level operational plans.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum:

    • NQF Level 6 (3-Year Degree/Diploma in Information Technology or related field)

    • OR NQF Level 4 (Grade 12) with 7 years of relevant experience

  • Preferred:

    • Additional certifications in Strategy, Business, or Finance (advantageous)


Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a strategy-related role such as:

    • Corporate Strategy

    • Business Design

    • Management Consulting

    • Growth, Cost Transformation, or Shared Value Strategy
