Purpose of the Role
Glencore is seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Lead to manage and grow its market presence across the African region. This senior role involves leading regional sales strategy, driving revenue growth, managing key accounts, and fostering client relationships. You’ll coordinate closely with Glencore’s technical and marketing teams while aligning efforts with local policies and global objectives.
Key Responsibilities

Drive sales for Glencore Technology products in Africa

Operate pilot rigs for demonstrations and client trials

Achieve sales goals across various technologies

Lead key account management and represent Glencore at conferences

Facilitate both commercial and technical discussions with clients

Maintain relationships with Glencore representatives and partners in the region

Prepare regular sales reports and handle client concerns proactively

Pursue upselling and cross-selling opportunities

Develop partnerships and networks to increase market share and brand visibility
Qualifications & Experience Required

Tertiary qualification in Engineering (or a closely related discipline)

Significant experience in the mining industry, particularly mineral processing technologies

Advanced Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel

Fluent in English (spoken and written)

Willingness to travel frequently across Africa (with occasional international travel)
