Job Description

The Sales Executive will be responsible for achieving set sales targets by delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining positive relationships to ensure an outstanding customer experience.


Role Responsibilities

  • Develop the business to meet monthly sales targets

  • Implement strategies to retain and grow the customer base

  • Manage customer expectations and ensure service excellence

  • Commit to achieving sales growth through proactive opportunities

  • Identify new revenue streams

  • Handle customer escalations and provide timely feedback

  • Negotiate deals and close sales

  • Understand market trends and customer behavior

  • Accurately evaluate vehicles


Qualifications and Experience

  • Grade 12 (Matric)

  • Minimum of 3 years in automotive sales

  • Code 8 Driver’s License (essential)

  • Computer literate

  • Proven track record of consistently meeting monthly sales targets


Skills and Attributes

  • Strong customer and sales management skills

  • Knowledge of retail compliance (advantageous)

  • Multilingual (advantageous)

  • Experience in cold calling and market growth

  • Familiarity with “Higher Gear” system

  • Understanding of dealership operations

  • Knowledge of the broader motor industry and economic factors

  • Deep product knowledge and brand awareness

  • Self-motivated, organized, and effective at time management

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and influencing skills

  • Strong administrative and interpersonal abilities

  • Ability to read customer behavior and emotions

  • Presentable and professional demeanor

  • Skilled in networking and lead generation

  • Capable of conducting accurate needs analysis and customer qualification
