Job Purpose

To support the coordination and administration of project and training-related activities, ensuring timely execution and compliance with quality standards. The role involves handling multiple project schedules, procurement processes, and reporting within the Strategic Human Capital unit.


Minimum Requirements

  • Matric / Grade 12

  • Post-matric qualification (preferably in Project or Event Management)

  • Project Management or Events Certificate (advantageous)

  • Training-related certificate or qualification

  • 2–3 years’ experience in a project environment

  • At least 2 years’ experience using Microsoft Project

  • Exposure to Training, Learnership, or Graduate programmes

  • Valid driver’s license

  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook


Primary Responsibilities

  • Coordinate day-to-day project and event activities

  • Maintain resource levels and manage procurement/documentation

  • Support Project Manager with updated information and serve as backup

  • Ensure compliance with Quality Management Systems (QMS)

  • Manage administration of Learnership and Graduate programmes

  • Compile and submit accurate weekly and monthly reports

  • Plan and execute concurrent project schedules

  • Support logistical and operational execution of events


Knowledge Required

  • General business and budget knowledge

  • Project management tools and methodologies

  • Supply Chain and procurement procedures

  • Training programme administration (Learnerships/Graduates)

  • Systems and quality procedures


Skills Needed

  • Excellent written and verbal communication

  • Strong planning and time management

  • Report writing and numerical skills

  • Computer literacy, especially MS Project, Word, Excel

  • Coordination and multitasking skills

  • Administrative efficiency
