Role Purpose:

To deliver efficient and effective service to clients by handling telephonic and electronic queries with speed, accuracy, and professionalism.


Minimum Requirements:

  • Matric or a relevant qualification

  • 2 years of experience in a client service environment

  • Exposure to the insurance or financial services industry

  • Computer literacy in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)

  • Experience in Employee Benefits is advantageous


Key Responsibilities:

Client Interaction:

  • Answer calls from members and service providers

  • Provide first-call resolution where possible

  • Assist with benefit confirmations and documentation

  • Maintain a professional, client-first attitude

Administration:

  • Accurate data capture and document filing

  • Complete reports and admin within deadlines

  • Adhere to internal processes, policies, and quality standards

Client Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders

  • Meet or exceed service level agreements (SLAs)

  • Proactively suggest improvements in client service

Teamwork & Collaboration:

  • Work closely with peers and other departments

  • Share knowledge and support team success

  • Participate in continuous learning and change initiatives

Finance & Risk:

  • Contribute to efficient resource usage

  • Identify cost-saving opportunities

  • Participate in risk mitigation and planning
