Role Purpose

Reporting to the Security Manager, the Control Room Operator is responsible for monitoring security operations, minimizing risk, and ensuring safety at TFG Warehouses.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

Manage access control and monitor electrical fences
Operate and monitor CCTV systems (Hikvision preferred)
Use Gallagher security system experience
Handle intruder and panic alarms monitoring
Perform CCTV investigations and review footage accurately
Operate remrad system for Local Fire Brigade communications
Use public address (PA) systems for communication and evacuation
Investigate incidents and write clear, detailed reports
Maintain discipline and resolve conflicts effectively
Provide excellent customer service

Skills & Competencies

Fluent in English (verbal and written communication)
Strong attention to detail and self-confidence
Solid understanding of security operations and procedures
Incident investigation and conflict resolution skills
Leadership capabilities
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum Grade 11, preferably Grade 12
PSIRA Registered with Grade A - B accreditation
Certified Level 1 First Aider
Basic Fire Fighting certification
Clear criminal and credit records
Computer literate
