Job Overview

Midas is seeking a target-driven, customer-focused Counter Salesman to support the sales team in Rustenburg. The primary responsibility is to drive in-store sales, maintain excellent customer service, and contribute to business growth by building strong customer relationships and expanding market share.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage walk-in customer and counter sales

  • Meet or exceed sales targets set by management

  • Provide quotations, product info, and pricing details to customers

  • Track and report on sales potential by customer

  • Gather and report competitor activity and pricing trends

  • Resolve customer delivery or account issues by liaising with relevant departments

  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships

  • Grow customer base within the geographic area of responsibility

  • Support internal departments (Accounts, Dispatch, Warehousing, Technical, etc.) to ensure smooth service and customer satisfaction


Minimum Qualifications and Experience

  • Matric (Grade 12)

  • At least 2 years of experience in a sales parts environment

  • Proven background in customer service and sales

  • Strong understanding of the Rustenburg or North West region

  • Technical background is advantageous
