Job Purpose

To process financial transactions efficiently and within the bank’s policies, ensuring accuracy and timely reconciliation to minimise risk and support stakeholder satisfaction.


Key Responsibilities

  • Prevent financial losses by ensuring accurate capturing and calculation of transactions.

  • Reconcile bank statements and financial reports regularly to maintain accuracy.

  • Resolve outstanding queries and complaints within agreed timeframes.

  • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders by meeting service level agreements (SLAs).

  • Investigate and document unreconciled items to support audit trails.

  • Monitor daily workflow volumes and report any irregularities.

  • Identify opportunities to improve operational processes.

  • Stay up to date with banking regulations, policies, and system changes.

  • Participate in team knowledge sharing and contribute to a high-performance culture.

  • Support transformation and corporate social responsibility initiatives.


Minimum Requirements

  • Education:

    • Matric / Grade 12 / National Senior Certificate (NQF Level 4)

  • Preferred Qualification:

    • Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting

  • Experience:

    • 2–3 years' experience in financial, risk, and process management environments
