Stockroom Specialist

Purpose of the Role

To support the efficient operation of the Brand Flagship Store's stockroom, ensuring optimal merchandise flow, organization, and back-of-house operations. The goal is to maintain a high-performing logistics function that maximizes in-store sales potential and enhances the overall customer experience.


Key Responsibilities

  • Understand and contribute to store sales and KPI targets

  • Prioritize merchandise flow from stockroom to sales floor

  • Receive and process deliveries accurately and promptly

  • Manage inter-store and warehouse stock transfers

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked backroom area

  • Comply with all stock protection, safety, and operational procedures

  • Train and support other team members on basic stockroom operations

  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure smooth store operations

  • Participate in relevant training programs and apply learnings on the job

  • Provide input and suggestions for operational improvements

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong verbal communication skills

  • Ability to handle multiple priorities and adjust to varying demands

  • Calm and professional under pressure or in challenging situations

  • Attention to detail, especially in inventory handling

  • Customer- and team-focused mindset

  • Basic to intermediate numeracy and literacy skills

  • Understanding of retail industry operations


Education & Experience Required

  • 6–12 months of experience in a retail or stockroom environment, ideally in sports or fashion

  • Knowledge of stockroom operations and retail processes

  • Experience working in customer-focused, commercial retail settings
