Job Purpose:
To maximize vehicle sales by delivering exceptional customer service, ensuring all sales processes are followed, and building lasting relationships with customers to guarantee an outstanding experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Achieve vehicle sales targets.
- Maintain profitability per company standards.
- Introduce all clients to Finance & Insurance (F&I).
- Promote accessories and value-added products.
- Uphold a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Follow the full "Road to a Sale" process.
- Maintain accurate use of the company CRM (Higher Gear).
- Complete deal files correctly and in line with company policy.
- Ensure CPA (Consumer Protection Act) compliance.
- Accurately manage and record all required documents.
- Represent the company at vehicle displays or promotions.
- Stay informed on running specials and promotions.
- Achieve lead generation and prospecting targets.
- Meet Fuel-Online digital marketing targets.
- Maintain full product knowledge of all vehicle models and features.
- Adhere to company discounting and invoicing policies.
- Keep demo vehicles clean and ready for customer use.
- Ensure defect-free delivery of sold vehicles.
- Confirm that costings match the final profit report (VHP515).
- Introduce customers to service and parts teams upon delivery.
- Secure full deposits or shortfalls before delivery.
- Ensure all cash deals are fully paid before delivery.
- Avoid invoicing vehicles not paid within the same month.
- Communicate dealership payment policies clearly to customers.
- Obtain management approval on all quotes.
- Unauthorized external work is at your personal risk.
- Comply with additional management requests as required.
Qualifications & Experience:

Matric (Grade 12) or equivalent

2–3 years’ vehicle sales experience in the motor industry

Proven track record in used vehicle sales
