Job Purpose
To acquire, manage, and grow a portfolio of high-value clients (including Small Business Services, Professionals, and Financially Affluent individuals) by delivering integrated banking solutions, building long-term relationships, and providing exceptional client experiences that align with their business and household needs.
Key Responsibilities
Client Acquisition & Relationship Building

Acquire and retain high-value clients through a needs-based sales approach

Maintain and grow a complex portfolio by building trust-based relationships

Proactively engage with clients to understand business, personal, and household requirements

Collaborate with internal specialists to deliver tailored solutions
Sales & Solution Execution

Identify sales opportunities and execute cross-sell strategies

Meet performance targets using client management systems

Deliver banking solutions that address specific client challenges and financial goals
Compliance & Risk Management

Ensure adherence to Nedbank’s internal policies, FAIS requirements, and regulatory standards

Identify risk exposures and ensure clients are appropriately informed

Support clients with compliance-related requirements
Client Experience & Operational Excellence

Ensure high-quality, consistent service delivery

Minimum Requirements
Education:
-
Required: Matric / Grade 12 / National Senior Certificate

Preferred: Advanced Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, or Marketing

Additional: Full FAIS Qualification required
Experience:
-
Minimum 5 years’ experience in a banking environment
-
At least 2 years in a Relationship Banker role
Technical Knowledge & Skills Required

Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Strong interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills

Data analysis and business writing proficiency
