Remuneration:
R548,510 to R722,911 – Total Cost to Company
Minimum Requirements:

Grade 12 or equivalent NQF Level 4 qualification

Secretarial Certificate (advantageous)
-
Exceptional computer skills (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet, and Email)

Strong office management, leadership, and analytical abilities
-
Ability to work under pressure and demonstrate resilience
-
Understanding of legislative frameworks and political service delivery
-
Knowledge of and adherence to protocol
-
1–2 years of experience in a political or government environment
Core Responsibilities:
-
Manage the diary, office functions, and logistical arrangements for the MMC
-
Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence, referring matters to relevant departments at local, provincial, and national levels
-
Screen and manage phone calls for the MMC
-
Develop and maintain an organized filing system
-
Coordinate travel and accommodation for the MMC
-
Manage procurement and payment processes for the office
-
Organize and coordinate meetings, workshops, campaigns, and events
-
Liaise with stakeholders on service delivery and political matters
-
Assist the MMC in monitoring outputs, workflows, and deadlines
-
Handle sensitive matters with discretion and sound judgement
