Job Purpose:
To support warehouse and delivery operations by ensuring proper loading, stacking, cleanliness, and adherence to operational procedures.

---

Key Responsibilities:

General Duties:

• Sweep and clean warehouse areas

• Assist with deliveries and housekeeping

• Assist with picking and other warehouse-related tasks

• Load and wrap pallets and products

• Operate pallet jacks and forklifts (if licensed)

• Follow SOPs during truck loading

Wrapping:

• Pack and wrap cases according to instructions

• Remove poor quality products

• Assist Checkers with case handling

Housekeeping:

• Maintain high housekeeping standards

• Proper storage and maintenance of cleaning tools

• Keep stacking neat and secure

• Clear waste and maintain clean walkways

• Remove empty pallets and boards promptly

Stock Count Support:

• Prepare warehouse for stock counts

• Isolate damaged stock and ensure easy access for counters

• Perform daily stock counts as needed

• Report problem stock

Timekeeping:

• Clock in/out correctly

• Minimize overtime

• Report lateness

Health & Safety Compliance:

• Follow OHS and ISO regulations

• Ensure safe work practices and accident prevention

Good Handling Practices:

• Keep freezer and loading doors closed

• Maintain glass-free zones near products

Teamwork & Self-Management:

• Take responsibility for tasks

• Communicate delays or risks

• Support company values and teamwork

• Contract cleaning staff

Minimum Requirements:

• Matric (Grade 12)

• Physically fit

• Sober habits

Preferred Experience:

• At least 1 year of experience in warehousing or a similar environment (advantageous)
