Finance Clerk: Inventory
Location: Kuilsriver, Cape Town (Ackermans Support Centre)
Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent (in-office)

Role Overview:

Manage inventory-related financial transactions and ensure accurate financial reporting. Responsible for reconciling stock count info from stores, transporter claims, and other stock administration duties.


Experience Required:

  • Essential: 2-3 years relevant finance administration experience, with strong reconciliation skills

  • Preferred: Retail experience


Qualifications Required:

  • Essential: Grade 12 (Accountancy and/or Maths)

  • Preferred: Relevant tertiary qualification (Certificate/Diploma/Degree)


Knowledge Required:

  • Strong administration skills

  • Good understanding of financial administration and accounting principles (debits, credits, journals, reconciliations)

  • Knowledge of inventory processes

  • Basic understanding of transport/logistics


Skills Required:

  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work independently and in a team

  • Attention to detail and strong numerical ability

  • Deadline-driven, analytical thinker

  • Ability to handle high volumes of work and work under pressure
