About the Role

The City of Tshwane is looking for a responsible and safety-conscious Driver to operate a mobile clinic vehicle in the informal settlements of Olievenhoutbosch. You will play a vital role in ensuring the health team reaches the community efficiently and safely.

Key Responsibilities

Drive the mobile clinic to scheduled locations within informal settlements
Perform daily vehicle checks and basic maintenance (oil, water, tyres, brake fluid)
Transport mobile clinic staff to and from assigned locations
Ensure the safety of passengers and the roadworthiness of the vehicle
Maintain accurate vehicle log sheets and checklists (daily, weekly, monthly, annually)
Keep the vehicle clean inside and out (weekly)
Assist with ad hoc driving or operational tasks as directed by the supervisor
Report any vehicle issues or hazards to the supervisor

Minimum Requirements

Grade 10 or equivalent
Valid EC or EC1 driving licence with a valid PrDP (Professional Driving Permit)
Relevant experience in administrative support services
Computer literacy
Must undergo a criminal record check and allow fingerprinting by Tshwane Metro Police (at own cost)
