Job Summary
Feedem Group is seeking a Cash Reconciliation Clerk responsible for performing daily cash reconciliations and collaborating with District Managers and Operations teams to ensure financial compliance in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Minimum Requirements
-
Matric (Grade 12)
-
National Certificate in Accounting or Business Studies (advantageous)
-
1–2 years of experience in cash reconciliation or cashing up
-
Experience in data capturing using accounting systems (advantageous)
-
Proficiency in English (additional South African languages are advantageous)
Key Responsibilities
Reconciliation
-
Reconcile various tender types to bank statements
-
Ensure daily cash-ups match point-of-sale system reports
-
Investigate and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner
-
Complete all reconciliations within required timeframes
Data Capturing
-
Use accounting systems to review cash sales data from Unit Managers
-
Verify and process all sales data per assigned checklist
-
Maintain detailed records of all financial transactions
Reporting & Queries
-
Respond to and resolve documentation-related queries (receipts, deposits, etc.)
-
Escalate unresolved issues to the appropriate District Managers
-
Provide timely updates and accurate reports to management
-
Ensure all queries are closed before monthly deadlines
Audit Support

Assist with internal and year-end audits
-
Prepare audit files and supply supporting documentation

Work closely with management to ensure audit readiness
