Job Description
The successful incumbent will be responsible for delivering front-line HR services related to the joiner-mover-leaver processes for the Western Cape/Lesotho Region. This role includes executing project-related tasks and providing ad-hoc support in resolving employee issues in compliance with relevant legislation and company policies.
Qualification Requirements

HR Diploma or Degree (Essential)
Experience Requirements
-
2–3 years in an HR Officer role (Essential)
-
Experience in a unionised environment (Essential)
-
Experience with people management information systems such as Sage People, VIP, or SAP (Essential)
-
Experience in a continuous operations matrix organisation (Desirable)
-
Exposure to business change and continuous improvement initiatives (Desirable)
Key Outputs
Key Responsibilities

Deliver an effective recruitment and selection service to ensure the organisation is staffed with qualified and motivated employees.

Advise line management and staff on employee relations matters, manage disciplinary and grievance procedures, and support consultation processes in line with legislation and company policies.

Provide HR Administration with timely and accurate employee documentation and information for HRIS updates and monthly payroll.

Ensure high-quality HR service delivery through:
-
Guiding, advising, and auditing workplace practices.

Implementing corrective action with relevant managers.
-
Escalating issues and risks where necessary.

Manage administrative and consultation processes throughout the employee life cycle, from onboarding to exit.

Support the Regional HR Manager in executing HR projects.

Promote a high-performance culture through:

Identifying people and culture risks and trends.

Developing and executing personal IDPs and goals.

Reporting improvement opportunities to HR/OD process owners.
