Interns at Premier gain valuable in-service work experience, skills, and knowledge to help them launch their careers in Human Resources. This is a 12-month internship programme based at our Durban site, covering the KwaZulu-Natal region and reporting to the Regional HR Manager. The intern may also support national HR initiatives and may be required to travel to other sites for broader business exposure.


Qualification Requirements

  • Grade 12

  • Final-year student pursuing a National Diploma in Human Resource Management

  • Tertiary institution logbook specifying required exposure and experience

  • Driver’s license (advantageous)


Experience Requirements

  • No prior work experience required


Key Outputs
This internship offers exposure, understanding, and practical experience in the following areas:

  • HR operations administration and systems (e.g., Dynamics 365, Graylink)

  • Recruitment, onboarding, employee movement, and terminations

  • Learning and Development administration (e.g., Moodle, Dynamics 365)

  • Understanding of key Human Resource disciplines:

    • Learning and Development

    • Talent and Skills Development

    • Organisational Development

    • Industrial Relations
