Job Purpose
Tsebo Facilities Solutions is seeking a Handyman responsible for efficient and effective planned preventative maintenance, reactive maintenance, and remedial work. The role supports workplace services according to the Master Service Agreement and includes breakdown response, after-hours availability, and general repairs.

Minimum Requirements

• Matric (Grade 12)

• NQF Level 4 technical qualification (advantageous)

• 2–5 years' experience in a similar environment

• Experience with plumbing, carpentry, and electrical systems

• Familiarity with hand and power tools

• Knowledge of building layouts and infrastructure

• Knowledge of materials and tools used in facilities management

Key Responsibilities
Operational Delivery:

• Perform general handyman tasks: plumbing, painting, welding, carpentry

• Clean up work areas and maintain workshop cleanliness

• Complete Work Orders before submission

• Maintain tools in good working condition

• Conduct inspections and carry out OHS-compliant work

• Escort and oversee sub-contractors on-site

• Carry out preventative and reactive maintenance tasks

Service Delivery Management:

• Meet SLA and performance targets

• Maintain accurate maintenance documentation

Customer Focus:

• Handle client enquiries, concerns, and requests

• Follow up and resolve queries or escalate as needed

• Promote positive client relationships and manage conflict

Reporting:

• Submit weekly/monthly reports to Maintenance Supervisor

• Maintain updated records

Code of Conduct:

• Perform flexible tasks beyond standard duties when needed

• Represent Tsebo and the client professionally

• Follow SHEQ policies and procedures

• Uphold Tsebo’s ethical standards
