Job Purpose
Tsebo Cleaning and Hygiene Solutions is seeking an experienced Cleaning Manager with healthcare industry experience, to be based in Gqeberha, Eastern Cape. The role involves overseeing daily site operations, ensuring high standards of service delivery according to site-specific SLA’s, and managing client relationships, inspections, and staff.

Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12 (Matric)

• Tertiary qualifications will be an advantage

• Minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar environment at middle management level

• Experience in the healthcare industry is highly advantageous

• Experience managing or overseeing large staff teams

• Knowledge of cleaning principles and Tsebo policies and procedures

• Strong people management and industrial relations skills

• Able to work long hours, after hours, and some weekends

Key Responsibilities

• Full management of site operations

• Proactive response to client requests

• Resource allocation for maximum cleaning output

• Manage relief staff to prevent service disruptions

• Maintain and update job cards and work schedules

• Conduct regular service quality inspections

• Ensure smooth site closure processes when applicable

• Retain contracts through excellent service delivery

• Enforce company standards, dress code, and professionalism

• Maintain and inspect company assets and equipment

• Provide on-the-job training and ensure staff development

• Maintain site documentation and notice boards

• Ensure effective communication with clients and staff

• Manage HR issues and disciplinary processes

• Participate in performance reviews and CCMA cases

• Ensure compliance with Occupational Health and Safety Act

• Manage unit finances, budgeting, and billing processes

• Identify opportunities for additional business
