Job Title: Administrator – Office Administrator (Commercial Operations SA)

Location: Johannesburg, Gauteng, South Africa
Department: Commercial Operations


Job Purpose:

To support the General Manager, Senior Managers, and Stakeholder & Relationship team with daily admin tasks and logistics.


Key Responsibilities:

1. Logistical & Admin Support

  • Schedule meetings and send out info

  • Prepare meeting packs and book venues

  • Handle travel, accommodation, catering, and other arrangements

  • Track stakeholder engagements and ensure follow-ups

2. Document Management

  • File meeting minutes and documents

  • Keep a user-friendly digital filing system

  • Update team files and distribution lists

  • Organize events with leadership guidance

3. Financial Support

  • Prepare and monitor expenses in Oracle

  • Order supplies and manage office needs

  • Help with budgeting, tracking Purchase Orders, and processing supplier payments

  • Record and track contracts and their expiry dates

4. People & Culture

  • Set personal goals and identify training needs

  • Promote company values and help create a great work environment

  • Act as a brand ambassador internally


Minimum Requirements:

Education:

  • Grade 12

  • Diploma in Office or Secretarial Administration

Experience:

  • At least 2 years in office administration

  • Experience in a small to medium-sized company preferred
