Job Summary
The Academy Administrator is responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing all training programmes offered by the PPS Academy. This includes scheduling, logistics, learner communication, and post-training processes. The role also serves as the main contact point for learners, L&D specialists, and stakeholders.
Minimum Requirements
Education:

Matric
-
Bachelor's degree in HR, Education, Business Administration or similar (preferred)
Knowledge and Skills:
-
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Power BI)

Willingness to adopt new technologies
-
Experience with Learning Management Systems (e.g., Moodle)

Strong project management and communication skills
-
Excellent interpersonal skills and problem-solving abilities

High attention to detail and adaptability
Duties and Responsibilities
Training Calendar Management:
-
Develop and manage training schedules
-
Arrange venues, catering, materials, and equipment
-
Manage registrations and learner communications
-
Track attendance and training records
Facilitator Support:
-
Coordinate with facilitators regarding schedules and resources

Distribute materials and collect training feedback
Learner Support:
-
Act as the contact point for learner queries
-
Address concerns and promote a positive learning experience
Hosting:
-
Create a welcoming environment during training sessions
-
Facilitate introductions and encourage participation
Administrative Tasks:
-
Capture training data for skills reporting (INSETA)
-
Assist with WSP and ATR submissions
-
Handle INSETA MIS registrations
-
Administer learnerships and internships
-
Organise documentation for B-BBEE verification
-
Support the creation of new training programmes
