Purpose of the Job

The successful candidate will ensure world-class reception services while managing day-to-day administrative and mail room operations. This role focuses on delivering high-quality, client-focused service and ensuring all front desk functions meet company standards.


Minimum Requirements

Education:

  • Matric (Grade 12) – Essential

  • Relevant qualification – Advantageous

Experience:

  • At least 2 years of proven work experience as a corporate receptionist within the financial services industry.

  • Knowledge of customer service principles.

  • Ability to speak more than two languages is an advantage.


Key Performance Areas

1. Delivering Exceptional Customer Service

  • Greet all clients and visitors with a warm and professional attitude.

  • Always acknowledge clients’ presence and provide assistance.

  • Use correct business language when engaging with visitors.

  • Handle incoming calls professionally, ensuring clear communication.

  • Resolve customer complaints promptly and refer clients where necessary.

  • Act as a chaperone for clients when required.

  • Assist the Business Support Team with administrative duties.

2. Data Management & Integrity

  • Record all visitor details accurately using the visitor management system.

  • Ensure confidentiality by following POPIA regulations.

3. Adhering to Policies & Procedures

  • Follow all company protocols, procedures, and SLAs.

  • Ensure proper use of business tools and equipment.

  • Maintain high customer satisfaction standards.

  • Keep all client-related documents secure and out of sight.

4. Teamwork & Communication

  • Maintain a positive and professional attitude in a team-oriented environment.

  • Support colleagues and share knowledge and skills.

  • Ensure clear communication with the front-line team for seamless operations.

5. Treating Customers Fairly (TCF)

  • Build and maintain strong client relationships.
