Job Purpose

South African Airways (SAA) is recruiting a Team Leader Crew Training to implement Inflight Services training policies and conduct customer service, soft skills, and related training for cabin crew and other stakeholders. The role also ensures compliance with SA-CAA, IOSA, and other aviation regulatory bodies.

Minimum Requirements

  • 3-year diploma in Business Management, Human Resources, or a related field (NQF Level 6) with 3 years of cabin crew experience
  • OR 4 years of cabin crew experience
  • Valid Cabin Crew License
  • Experience in the airline industry (advantageous)

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement Inflight Services training strategies
  • Ensure compliance with SA-CAA, IOSA, and aviation regulations
  • Conduct internal audits and ensure adherence to quality standards
  • Develop and update training manuals and assessments
  • Monitor cabin crew line proficiency checks
  • Conduct training needs analysis and develop training programmes
  • Assist in implementing on-board service procedures
  • Oversee departmental audits, compliance, and risk management
  • Track performance metrics and propose improvements

Knowledge & Skills

  • Cabin crew procedures and airline training standards
  • IATA, CAA, and SAQA policies and regulations
  • SAP HR and MS Office proficiency
  • Problem-solving, facilitation, and planning skills
  • Time management and adaptability
