Job Description
Premier seeks a motivated Sales Representative with a passion for sales to join their team. The role involves maintaining and expanding existing client relationships, achieving sales targets, and implementing strategies to drive growth in both Retail and General Trade sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Data Analysis: Interpret sales data and develop actionable plans to grow and maintain the client base.
- Client Management: Build strong trade relationships by maintaining high service levels and timely delivery coordination with the distribution team.
- Sales Operations:
- Handle stock and pricing management.
- Manage product returns.
- Process and manage orders.
- Open and negotiate new business accounts.
- Promotions and Marketing: Execute promotions and align with the marketing strategy.
- Merchandising: Oversee and coordinate merchandisers effectively.
- Reporting: Generate regular progress reports.
- Route Riding: Conduct frequent route rides to ensure quality client interactions.
Qualification Requirements
- Minimum Grade 12 (Matric).
- Postgraduate qualification in sales or marketing (preferred).
- Valid driver’s license.
Experience Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of sales experience, ideally in the FMCG industry.
Key Competencies and Outputs
- Proven ability to develop and maintain strong client relationships.
- Strong administrative and organizational skills.
- Capable of working independently and under pressure to meet deadlines.
- Analytical and detail-oriented.
- Excellent negotiation skills.
- Computer literacy (essential).
