Purpose of the Job
Medirite Plus Thabazimbi is looking for a dedicated Pharmacy Sales Assistant to enhance customer satisfaction and ensure efficient retail operations. The role includes assisting customers, managing payments, maintaining stock, and organizing the sales floor.
Job Objectives
Customer Interaction
- Greet and assist customers in identifying their needs.
- Provide product recommendations and handle customer queries promptly.
Sales and Payments
- Process payments using the Point of Sale (POS) system.
- Ensure accuracy in sales receipts and balance daily transactions.
- Stay updated on promotions and special offers.
Stock Management
- Restock items and maintain visual merchandising standards.
- Conduct price audits and rectify discrepancies.
Operational Excellence
- Maintain store cleanliness and proper housekeeping.
- Follow company procedures for payment and stock-receiving processes.
Minimum Qualifications
- Education: Grade 12 qualification.
Experience Required
- At least 5 months of point-of-sale/till experience in a retail setting.
- Proven retail sales experience.
Knowledge and Skills
Core Skills
- Solid understanding of customer service principles.
- Knowledgeable about payment procedures and stock management.
- Computer literacy.
Language Skills
- Bilingual, preferably fluent in Afrikaans and English.
