Position Overview
The Handyman will be responsible for executing various repair, maintenance, and workshop activities for the Omnia Fertilizer division in Sasolburg. This includes plumbing, general facility repairs, building work, and other tasks related to civil and mechanical maintenance. Duties align with the world-class manufacturing philosophy, principles, and practices.
Minimum Qualifications
- Matric / Grade 12 with Mathematics and Science
- Forklift and Cherry Picker licenses (advantageous)
Experience Required
- 2–5 years of experience in a similar role
- Experience in civil work
- Preference for candidates with experience in building maintenance
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform repairs and maintenance on buildings and equipment
- Carry out painting tasks
- Conduct basic plumbing repairs
- Ensure housekeeping of specified locations
- Perform civil and mechanical maintenance as required
