Job Opportunity: Freight Forwarder (Onsite, Air & Sea)

Time Type: Full-Time
Role Purpose
This role involves managing shipping processes for specific clients onsite, resolving operational issues, handling account queries, and keeping all stakeholders updated with real-time information.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage daily shipping processes for designated clients.
- Coordinate all aspects of international and domestic freight movements, including logistical coordination of internationally purchased products.
- Ensure consistent lead times through order tracking and tracing.
- Handle customer activities such as tariffs, accounts, invoices, permits, quotes, and costings.
- Reconcile and manage the DSV account to ensure timely payment.
- Maintain clear and consistent communication with all stakeholders.
Minimum Requirements
- Experience:
- Minimum 3 years in freight forwarding (import/export).
- Minimum 3 years operational experience in air and sea freight.
- Minimum 2 years in a commercial or customer service role.
- Education: Matric (Essential).
- Skills:
- Fluent in English.
- Strong interpersonal, motivational, and communication skills.
- Proficient in CW, MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Other Requirements:
- Valid Code 08 driver’s license and own transport.
- Excellent time management, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
- Ability to adapt to rapidly changing environments and technologies.
- Capacity to work under pressure and flexible hours.
