Purpose of the Role
Fidelity Services Group is seeking a Box Room Operator for their Pongola Branch. The role focuses on the distribution and receipt of consignments, with responsibilities in vault room operations, documentation, and administration.
Key Responsibilities
Vault Room Operations:
- Prepare for vault room duties, including schedule planning for Cash-in-Transit (CIT) operations.
- Receive and distribute consignments to and from CIT teams.
- Scan consignments and ensure accurate balancing of the vault.
- Sort consignments and perform lock-up procedures.
Administrative Duties:
- Complete all required documentation and administrative tasks.
- Conduct searches and maintain accurate records.
Minimum Qualifications and Experience
Education and Accreditation:
- Clear criminal record.
- PSIRA accreditation with a minimum Grade C qualification (advantageous).
Experience:
- At least one year of experience in the security industry or a similar role.
Skills:
- Computer literacy (mandatory).
- Excellent communication skills.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be physically fit and able to work night shifts.
- Capable of working under pressure.
