Main Purpose of the Role
To deliver professional customer service by effectively managing patient admissions, reception, and payment services, ensuring smooth clinical processes and a positive patient experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Efficiently manage the reception, admission, and cashier areas.
- Answer phone calls and assist with inquiries.
- Welcome and direct patients and visitors to appropriate areas.
- Assist patients with completing admission documentation.
- Accurately capture admission information in a timely manner.
- Ensure all patients admitted have the required authorization and/or have made necessary payments.
- Accurately handle and allocate payments.
- Support other reception areas when needed.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Education: Grade 12.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years in administration within a medical facility.
- Knowledge: Familiarity with medical schemes and admission processes.
- Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Good typing skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
