Job Overview
BMW Vereeniging is seeking a dedicated Admin Assistant: Sales. The successful candidate will manage vehicle preparations, repairs, and services, ensuring operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities
Vehicle Management:
- Prepare vehicles for delivery or showroom display.
- Ensure vehicles are maintained and ready for use.
Supplier Coordination:
- Obtain quotes for vehicle repairs/services from suppliers.
- Ensure value for money by negotiating the best prices.
Repair Oversight:
- Follow up on vehicles out for repairs/services.
- Inspect paintwork and identify visual repairs needed.
System and Website Management:
- Implement systems to streamline vehicle-related tasks.
- Update the MOTUS website with information on used vehicles.
Qualifications and Experience
- Education: Matric (Grade 12).
- Technical Knowledge: Limited technical knowledge is required.
- Experience:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential.
- Website management experience is advantageous.
- Familiarity with used cars and related practices.
Skills and Personal Attributes
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Strong negotiation skills with suppliers.
- Computer literate.
- Deadline-driven with the ability to work independently and in a team.
- Attention to detail, particularly in visual quality checks for repairs and paintwork.
