Duties & Responsibilities
- Ensure cleanliness and service of allocated rooms to meet hospitality standards.
- Replenish and replace guest supplies and consumables as needed.
- Fulfill special requests in line with company policies and procedures.
- Maintain a neat work area, including corridors, walls, and floors.
- Adhere to Standard Operating Processes (SOPs) for cleaning tasks (e.g., bed making, mattress turning).
- Keep housekeeping storerooms clean and organized.
- Submit guest laundry for laundering as per company procedures.
- Follow up on uncollected room service trays to ensure prompt removal.
- Report maintenance issues and ensure they are resolved.
Skills and Competencies
- Professional appearance and grooming
- Vibrant, energetic, and able to work flexible hours (including late shifts, weekends, and public holidays)
- Strong people skills and good communication (oral and written)
- Good listening skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask, work independently, and handle pressure
- Leadership ability
Qualifications
- Minimum: Grade 11 or Grade 12
- Experience: 2 to 3 years of experience as a Room Attendant is advantageous
