Job Description
The Porter will be responsible for providing exceptional service to guests by assisting with luggage and ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out process. This role includes addressing guest requests, maintaining hotel security, and reporting any issues that may arise.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist guests with luggage during check-in, check-out, and throughout their stay.
- Support the Front Office team in delivering excellent guest service.
- Provide prompt and courteous service to guests, responding quickly to any requests.
- Maintain a well-groomed appearance and exhibit professional behavior at all times.
- Complete necessary forms and reports in case of accidents, thefts, or any incidents during shifts.
- Communicate the need for maintenance and repairs to the Front Office Manager.
- Demonstrate problem-solving skills and initiative in addressing guest concerns.
- Uphold the "Yes I Can!" attitude and ensure guest satisfaction.
Minimum Requirements
- Proficiency in English.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a friendly demeanor.
- Ability to prioritize and handle guest requests efficiently.
- Well-groomed and presentable appearance.
- Previous experience in a hospitality or customer service role is preferred.
- Strong problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently when needed.
