Requirements:
- Education: NQF Level 1 or 2 (ABET Level 2 certificate or equivalent).
- Experience: No prior work experience required.
Duties:
- Provide services related to food preparation.
- Clean kitchen utensils and equipment.
- Provide catering support services.
- Maintain stock of kitchen utensils and equipment.
- Apply hygiene and safety measures.
- Ensure food quality control.
- Remove garbage and dispose of it properly.
- Prepare food, snacks, and beverages (water, tea, coffee, milk, sugar, cold drinks).
- Set up and convey crockery, cutlery, and equipment to dining areas.
- Serve food and beverages.
- Clean kitchen utensils and equipment.
- Manage food supplies, report waste, and manage losses.
