Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the department is well-organized to support business goals.
- Implement processes to minimize costs and optimize working capital.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety in all work areas.
- Analyze daily operational reports, addressing any discrepancies.
- Manage control measures to prevent mistakes and resolve inaccuracies.
- Ensure all processes are completed daily, with effective planning alongside Line Managers.
- Supervise DC Assistants, focusing on accuracy and quick turnaround times.
- Monitor productivity targets and assist in meeting quality standards.
- Maintain First-In-First-Out (FIFO) order for departmental tasks.
- Resolve escalated operational queries promptly.
Required Attributes:
- In-depth understanding of warehouse management systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Strong organizational and business administration skills.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure with attention to detail.
- Willingness to learn, adapt, and improve continuously.

- Ability to train and mentor staff.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Matric (or equivalent qualification).
- Tertiary qualification is advantageous.
- Relevant experience in Picking, Packing, Receiving, Supplier Collects, and Inventory management.
- 4-5 years of warehouse experience.
- 2 years of supervisory experience/exposure (advantageous).
