Job Overview
The role of the Bread Transfer Controller is to oversee the transfer of bread from Production to Distribution while ensuring quality and quantity standards are met.
Key Responsibilities
- Stack bread into crates from slicing areas.
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for transferring bread.
- Verify and ensure correct dating on all SKUs.
- Participate in daily Invocoms and team meetings.
- Ensure trays are correctly packed with quality bread.
- Maintain compliance with company policies and procedures.
Qualifications and Experience
Education
- Grade 12 with strong numerical ability and PC literacy (essential).
Experience
- 1–2 years of experience in the bakery industry in a similar role within an FMCG environment.
Additional Requirements
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Must be flexible to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
- Overtime work may occasionally be required.
