Job Description

RCL FOODS is hiring two Admin Clerks on fixed-term contracts at their National Office in Westville, Durban. The role involves managing records for suppliers/vendors transacting with RCL FOODS and assisting with creditor administration.

Minimum Requirements

Education:

  • Matric with Mathematics and Accountancy.

Experience:

  • At least 1 year of experience in creditors or a similar financial role.
  • SAP experience is advantageous.

Skills:

  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.

Duties & Responsibilities

  1. Creditor Administration:

    • Match invoices and credit notes with SAP receipts in the GR/IR account.
    • Ensure invoices and credit notes are VAT compliant.
    • Verify that supplier details on invoices match the Masterdata on SAP.
    • Capture invoices and credit notes on SAP and handle queries via Sharepoint.
    • Address discrepancies between supplier statements, invoices, and receipts with the relevant Creditors Clerk.
    • Organize and file invoices and credit notes.
  2. Information and Data Management:

    • Capture data accurately to enable reliable reporting for analysis and decision-making.
  3. Ad hoc Administration:

    • File and safeguard relevant records.
    • Compile spreadsheets and fulfill ad-hoc requests from the Creditors Clerk and Controller.
  4. Team Work and Self-Management:

    • Take ownership of tasks, ensuring work meets quality and productivity standards.
    • Communicate potential risks and deadlines effectively.
    • Demonstrate teamwork by supporting core values and assisting team members to achieve objectives.
