Key Responsibilities:

As a Sales Consultant, you will play a vital role in supporting the company's sales and customer service efforts. Your responsibilities will include:

1. Administration:

  • Handle daily administrative tasks, ensuring records and documentation are up to date and accurate.
  • Support store operations by managing paperwork related to sales, customer service, and stock control.

2. In-Store Sales and Marketing:

  • Promote products and services within the store environment, focusing on boosting sales and customer engagement.
  • Implement marketing strategies to drive sales and increase brand awareness.
  • Work closely with the team to meet sales targets and contribute to overall business growth.

3. Customer Satisfaction and Service:

  • Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with product inquiries, offering recommendations, and ensuring a positive shopping experience.
  • Handle customer complaints and resolve issues in a timely, professional manner.

Job Requirements:

To excel in this role, candidates should possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • Experience:

    • 2-3 years’ experience in a retail sales environment, with preference given to those who have worked in the Telecommunications Industry.
  • Education:

    • Matric (Grade 12) qualification is required.
    • A Diploma/NQF Level 5 qualification will be advantageous.
  • Skills and Competencies:

    • Sales Acumen: Strong understanding of sales processes and strategies, with the ability to close deals and meet sales targets.
    • Marketing Knowledge: Familiarity with marketing principles and techniques to promote products effectively.
    • Customer Service Skills: Ability to deliver exceptional customer service, creating a positive experience that fosters customer loyalty.
    • Administration Skills: Organizational abilities to handle daily administrative tasks efficiently.
    • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, essential for interacting with customers and colleagues.
    • Computer Literacy: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) to handle administrative and reporting duties.
