Job Title: Receptionist & Office Administrator

Location: Primary and High School Department
Qualifications:
- Matric: Minimum educational requirement.
- Certificate or Diploma in Office Administration: A qualification in office administration or a related field is highly advantageous.
- Computer Literacy: Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams) is essential.
- IT Proficiency: A solid understanding of general office IT systems is required.
Experience:
- Minimum 5 Years: Previous experience in a similar, fast-paced office environment.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, particularly in English.
- Knowledge of SASAMS: Familiarity with the SASAMS school administration system is a plus.
- CRM or Office Management Software: Experience with customer relationship management systems or office management software will be beneficial.
Duties:
- Switchboard Operation: Answer, screen, and forward incoming calls, providing basic information when necessary.
- Stakeholder Relations: Handle communications with parents, learners, and staff via phone, email, and in person.
- Reception Management: Oversee the reception area, ensuring it runs smoothly and professionally.
- Enrollment Enquiries: Assist with new student enrollment and handle confidential documentation.
- Learner Records Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date learner records.
- Administrative Support: Provide general administrative assistance, including minute-taking during meetings, typing academic and administrative materials, and performing ad-hoc tasks as required.
- First Aid: Administer first aid to learners when necessary.
- Marketing Support: Assist the marketing department by capturing leads for marketing statistics.

- Organizational Skills: Ability to manage tasks effectively, even under pressure.
- Attention to Detail: A high degree of accuracy is required in handling tasks, particularly sensitive learner information.
- Discretion & Confidentiality: Capable of maintaining confidentiality when dealing with sensitive documents.
- Initiative & Creativity: Enthusiastic, energetic, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Tech Savvy: Proficiency in MS Office and the ability to learn other relevant platforms.
