Purpose of the Job

To provide administrative support to a designated team, ensuring smooth and efficient day-to-day operations across Sasol’s mining sites.


Key Responsibilities

  • Handle inquiries and schedule appointments.

  • Organise and attend meetings; take minutes and keep accurate notes.

  • Maintain calendars and manage scheduling.

  • Coordinate travel, accommodation, and events.

  • Prepare documents, reports, letters, and presentations.

  • Distribute mail, newsletters, and correspondence.

  • Maintain electronic and hard copy filing systems.

  • Capture, sort, file, and cross-reference documents.

  • Compile and manipulate data for management reporting.

  • Control office supplies and stationery.

  • Complete invoicing and monitor department expenditures.

  • Liaise with internal departments and external contacts.

  • Answer and direct phone calls; assist visitors.

  • Ensure compliance with service level agreements.

  • Assist with the planning and implementation of office procedures.


Qualifications

Education:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.


Experience

  • No prior experience required, but relevant administrative exposure is beneficial.
