Job Description
The South African College of Applied Psychology (SACAP) is a leading independent provider of education in psychology, counselling, and coaching. The SACAP Foundation, a non-profit entity founded in 2018, focuses on creating positive social change through education. This is achieved by providing academic scholarships, conducting research, and developing initiatives that impact mental health services in South African communities.
The SACAP Foundation is seeking a dedicated and organized Office Administrator to manage office tasks, support staff and clients, and handle day-to-day operations at the Woodstock, Cape Town office. This role is crucial to the Foundation’s goal of expanding its impact across the country.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage bookings and scheduling.
- Handle daily administrative tasks such as billing, electronic record-keeping, and document management.
- Provide support to both staff and clients.
- Ensure the office runs smoothly by handling operations efficiently.
- Use content management systems and technology tools with ease.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong administrative and organizational abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Suite (including Excel), and other technology platforms.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
- Calm and efficient under pressure.
- A commitment to customer care and adhering to ethical standards.
Qualifications & Experience
- Experience in office management tasks, including scheduling and billing.
- Familiarity with electronic record-keeping systems.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
- Experience in the healthcare industry is a plus.
- Proficiency in Xhosa is an advantage.
Operating Hours
This is a full-time position, with hours as follows:
- Monday to Thursday: 08:30 am – 17:00 pm
- Friday: 08:30 am – 16:00 pm
