Purpose of the Role
To manage and optimize stock replenishment in the Distribution Centre (DC) through efficient forecasting, ordering, supplier coordination, and system-driven inventory control. The role ensures accurate and timely stock levels, minimizes shortages or overstocking, and supports smooth supply chain operations.
Key Responsibilities

Implement and manage AWR (Advanced Warning Replenishment) system.

Forecast demand using historical data and buyer input.

Maintain and optimize stock levels (minimize overstocks & out-of-stocks).

Manage due orders and create suggested order quantities (SOQs).

Place and confirm supplier orders (local and import).
-
Track pro-forma invoices and ensure documentation accuracy.

Expedite shipments and follow up on late deliveries.

Maintain supplier accounts and product parameters.

Align promotional stock levels with buyer plans.

Run Order Policy Analysis (OPA) to determine ideal order cycles.

Provide management reports (e.g., inventory analysis, back-orders).

Maintain system accuracy for order planning and forecasting.
Job Requirements
Qualifications

Matric (Grade 12) required
-
Tertiary qualification in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field advantageous
Experience
-
2–3 years in a similar stock replenishment or supply chain role advantageous
Skills & Knowledge
-
Strong administrative and planning skills
-
Good communication (Bilingual – English and Afrikaans)

Proficient in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office

Knowledge of AWR systems and inventory optimization tools

Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Strong understanding of supplier collaboration and procurement processes
