Purpose of the Position
To maximize sales of Clover and Principal products in smaller, emerging market outlets by driving volume, building strong customer relationships, and ensuring consistent product availability and visibility at store level.
Key Responsibilities
Sales and Business Development

Increase sales volumes across stores

Source and maintain new businesses to grow the active customer base

Implement route plans and adhere to call cycles
-
Negotiate optimization of product basket
-
Introduce new products and principals into outlets
-
Arrange launches and promotional material
Customer Relationship Management
-
Liaise with customers at store level to understand and meet their needs
-
Provide ongoing support through structured sales procedures
-
Develop and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships
-
Address customer concerns with appropriate solutions
-
Support customer compliance with fridge and branding guidelines
Stock & Merchandising
-
Ensure constant stock availability
-
Minimize stock returns
-
Maintain shelf facings and product visibility
Sales Monitoring & Reporting

Monitor and report on sales volumes and pricing

Record sales by outlet and product category
-
Implement negotiated prices
-
Complete necessary sales administration
Minimum Requirements
-
Grade 12 (Matric) or equivalent NQF Level 4
-
Relevant diploma or advanced certificate in sales, business, or related field
-
Fluent in Business English

Valid Code 10 driver’s license

Experience applying job-related sales concepts, techniques, and processes
